Michael "Mick" Jenkins (born 9 June 1972 in Gold Coast, Queensland) is an Australian born professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Newcastle Knights, Workington Town, Gateshead Thunder, and Hull, as a , or , i.e. number 8 or 10, 9, or 11 or 12.〔Graham Williams, Peter Lush, David Farrar (November 2009). ISBN 978-1-903659-49-6〕 He was signed by Workington having only originally come to the UK to accompany his friend Evan Cochrane who had signed for Workington. After half a season with Workington they received an offer for him from Super League club Gateshead Thunder and he signed for Gateshead with Workington receiving a £15,000 transfer fee.
